Research and Planning - Double Page Spread Story Draft

Introduction -
In the studio today and would you guess who drops by? Only the brand new, upcoming RnB artist that is Chloe Ferreira. Taking the opportunity to catch up over a cup of tea and couple of cheeky digestive biscuits, we ask her about her new upcoming album, being signed to the label Roc Nation alongside names such as Rita Ora and J.Cole, twitter banter with fellow upcoming RnB artist The Weeknd and 'beef' with Professor Green! From the sounds of it, we have our hands full with this new teen socialite!

Hi Chloe! Welcome to the Exclusive studio, we've been looking forward to meeting you! How are you dealing with this all-of-a-sudden new found fame?
'Hello, it's a pleasure to be here, thanks for having me! It's all very sudden I can tell you that, it's a very demanding job but what isn't these days? I'm doing something I love though, and I worked hard to get here, it wasn't just handed to me on a plate, it's been years of preparation, auditions and various things, so yes it is tiresome, but I've worked hard to get where I am today and I intend to enjoy it as fully as possible, whilst I can.'

Yes, I'm sure it does get tiresome! Are you used to being signed to Jay-Z's massive label Roc Nation yet?
'It's still weird just being able to walk into the Roc Nation Studio and hearing ''Hi Chloe, you have a meeting with Kanye (West) today, room 3.'' from my secretary, and just being able to walk through and have all these big names letting onto me and chatting to me, I don't know how I should react sometimes.'

So all these famous friends and well publicised events are treating you well then?
'Oh of course! They're all much more normal than we think they are, like, I can just sit and talk to them like I do to anyone! They're all very more down-to-earth than we give them credit for. My favourite things to do are things such as red carpet events and the EMA's after-party I attended not long ago, being surrounded by all these people that are powerful in the music industry and acting industry is surreal.'

Well, I can certainly say I'm not out partying every-night unlike some! How do you find the time to go about your normal everyday business?
'Although I work a lot I do still make the time to go shopping, see my grandparents and friends, do all the things I used to do before. I think if you want to really want to do things you will find the time for them.'

Of course. On another note you've definitely been received by a welcoming fan base indeed! Not just the public have complimented you and your music, but you also have quite the celeb fan base too! How does it feel to have the likes of Rihanna, Beyonce and the Kardashian's singing your praises for all to hear?
'It still doesn't seem real! I was talking to my manager earlier this week and he told me dead casually that Kim (Kardashian) had been tweeting lyrics to my album! I didn't believe him at first, I had to check and when I saw it was true I rang my mum like a little fan girl!'

Seems all the boys are liking you too! Bet your phone's constantly going off with Twitter mentions complementing your looks and on air ease! How are you coping with the negative aspects, such as the 'haters'?
'I don't have the faintest idea why people get this impression! I have a little more than average but I don't have them falling at my feet or anything you know! *laughs.* I'm just a normal teenager, people need to remember this. Things are rarely serious at this age anyway, so we'll just see what happens, if nothing happens then I won't be disappointed, but if it does than that's another story. As for the haters, you've just gotta' ignore them, pay them attention and you get all the more hate. But carry on as normal and keep your head high and those that love you, will carry you.'

I think everyone's heard about the whole issue you and a certain Mr. Professor Green have had! Were you surprised at how quickly and why that escalated?
'In all honesty I'm not actually sure what happened myself. We've spoken since and sorted out the misunderstanding, I wouldn't say we're friends, but we're in a better place than we were. Everyone backstabs each other in this industry I've found, you stick to your own cliques, that way you know who you can and can't trust.'

Sounds like good advice. I can certainly say we're all glad you and The Weeknd are such good friends! Are we to look forward to any collaborations between you two in the near future?
'*Laughs* that would be revealing surprises! No, I'm just joking. We're good friends, but he's an American artist so it can be quite difficult to find the time to get together and play about in the studio. I'm optimistic but who knows? Just watch this space.'

Quite the sensible option too! We'll keep our ears open. Are you thinking of branching out, maybe performing in a festival or a bit of acting in the near future?
'I would love to do something like wireless this year! Being a breakthrough act I don't know whether I'll be announced in the line-up, but I'd love to do something like Wireless Festival in London during the summer! As for acting I do have something in the pipeline, but that's all I'm saying for now.'

Oooh, we'll be looking forward to hearing more on that suggestion! Well it's been a pleasure chatting with you, drop by the studio any time you like! We wish you the best for your upcoming projects and album!
'It's no problem at all, all in a days work! Thanks for having me I've really enjoyed it!'
